On December 18, 2025, my brother, Calvin Edward Laughlin III, passed away following a sudden car accident.
This series of short films is part of a larger body of work titled PLEASE DON'T FORGET an emergency document born out of my fear of losing memory. After witnessing my grandmother's decline as Alzheimer's consumed her memories, I began creating this work as a way to preserve the people, experiences, and moments that have shaped me, in fear that one day I may lose the ability to remember who I am, what made me, and why.
